There’s no need though to flaunt your ruby stained shirt. Be humble. Also understand that no one is off limits. Not the infant, nursing home patient, or affectionate mother. 

I saved you from sacrificing yourself for love. You spent years aching in a corner, longing for a woman who would’ve tied you to a railroad track for a few dollars. I taught you how to get even. Because waiting for people to get what they deserve is like waiting for paint to dry. You want to caress your enemies today as they take their last breath. 

Be proud of everything you’ve done. You’ve come a long way from being the shy man who felt sorry for people who conned you. Now you speak your mind and draw blood. There are plenty who will worship you but don’t trust anyone. The same person who offers you a hand will let go as you’re dangling off a bridge.
