Better than most, can’t you tell
From the smile and eased eyes
The “lovely to see you” and “I’m doing fine”
But what’s that inside, deep down
Tearing my layers and causing a frown
It’s hard to breathe, hard to see
The ceiling’s now looking up at me

A dark cloud and a foul mouth
